Neil Berg's 50 Years of Rock & Roll Clearwater Theatre reviews
Sting out did himself
The show was fabulous and I would highly recommend Neil Berg's 50 Years of Rock & Roll if you love it. He performed both new and old songs, encouraging the crowd to sing at times. He spoke about his father, love, and hurt between songs, which was personal to the crowd. Total play time was about 2 1/2 hours. He played for over an hour, took a 20 min. break, and then came back on.
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra outdid themselves. The conductor was really into it and the soloist on clarinet and violin was fantastic. His energy level really came through, showing he was enjoying what he was doing. The soloist singer's voice complimented Neil Berg's 50 Years of Rock & Roll, and when they sang together, it was amazing.
Neil Berg's 50 Years of Rock & Roll's pal on guitar was fantastic too. When he and the soloist sang together, they looked like they were really enjoying themselves.
